    Many of the plays …
Many of the plays look bad, but I doubt we know the whole story, there were probably thousands of hands played at this table and we only saw a few dozen. And at this type of tournament there is much more to the hand than what the specific cards the players hold because they are not just thinking about aces beating kings. They also think about what this guy is thinking and what does he think I am thinking. And all this helps form the basis of their actions, poker is a very complicated game.

It wouldn’t be very exciting to see someone get a walk because the best hand someone got dealt was J3 off.

and magicolivier, the rule is that u have to double the previous raise, not their previous total amount bet so 17.5m is the minimum he could have made it.

  • fitzy431 says:

    … (cont)… money …
… (cont)… money in as a favourite so in the long run, mathematics says they should win money. where as bad players put their money in when it is obvious there opponent has a better hand and consequently lose money.

  • fitzy431 says:

    lol ur obviously …
lol ur obviously not a bright individual ‘madthespian’. the best hand obviously does not need to win every time to be a game of skill. if it did then it would revert to a game of luck, of who is dealt the best hand… but i digress, poker is considered a game of skill because an advantage can be gained over an opponent, players who are experienced can get an edge through reading abilities, sound math knowledge etc, so thats how pros can make a living, consistently getting their … (cont)..

  • magicolivier says:

    OK… I got a …
    OK… I got a question…
At 6:35, Saout raised the pot to 11.25M, and Buchman is going to reraise.

If you want to raise a pot, are you not suppose to raise it for at least the double of the previous bet…???

In that case, Buchman should have reraised to 22.5M but he raised to 21.25M

Is there someone to explain me if there is a specific rule…?

    Thx

i know it does seem strange. i thin he felt guilty he was the worst player and he was knocking all the good players off by luck and they deserve it more than him? not sure.

i honestly think Moon just wanted to leave the final table. It looks as if he has this feeling that he doesn’t belong there. Looking at the way he was playing before the final table, he would never have went all in with K9o

  • MadThespian says:

    According to …
According to Washington State statute, poker is a game of skill. That;s why it was legal to have poker rooms before the casinos came to WA.

Anyway, if poker is a game of luck over skill, then the best hand would win every time.
