Not the best play, but a creative and strong play. Blom of course knew this wasnt the best move he could make, but blom is enough of a degen that he probably cant help himself from making these moves.

Maybe I am wrong but probably Blom put Munns on the type of hand he had, an Ace with a small/medium kicker, because he wouldn’t have 3bet the flop with A3,33,AK or AQ most likely to give Blom the chance to fire another barrel on the turn/river.
So I guess Blom thought there is a decent chance Munns would fold the small Ace because the only thing he could beat was A2,A4,A5 and A6 and of course a complete bluff
